TRUST.
The importance of trust is taken seriously in Bods for many different reasons but trust in the theatre world and in any creative drama, TV, stage work is needed for everyone.
A Director needs to trust the crew and tech team to do their wonderful work, unseen and professionally to help create the best possible environment for the actors, and to deal with any crisis or situation that may arise!
Trusting the cast to learn lines , work hard, understand the direction given and perform their roles as best as possible. A cast needs to trust the director's vision and understand they may need to adapt to make things work even if they don’t feel it’s right. Each cast member must trust the other …they will help you get out of trouble if a line is lost or a prop doesn’t work, they are your best friend on that stage and you must be for them as well.
Trust the audience, they will know when to laugh, cry, hold their breath and clap…they are watching you to be entertained, they are with you throughout and trust you the cast to do well.
Trust can mean so many things but it must be there.
