BODS is the ambitious hub for every aspect of amateur theatre in the Wychwoods and a convivial base for all ages. Under the mentorship of Mandyrae Jessey, participants have opportunities to engage in workshops, improvised sessions, and rehearsals. These culminate in two or three productions a year, including festivals and competitions. Our shows encompass a wide spectrum, ranging from comedy and drama to full-scale pantomimes, musicals, and large cast plays.
BODS takes performances beyond our centre and into the community, actively participating in various theatrical events, including filming. In addition to our regular productions, BODS also offers a Monday evening teaching class.
We firmly believe that taking part in theatre productions is character-building, promotes confidence, and results in a satisfying sense of accomplishment. It also contributes to valuable life skills. Join us in this exciting journey.

Tickets on sale soon for a wonderful play with publicity starting to go out today on Shakespeare's birthday!
With a cast of 30 and 15 crew, costume, tech, prop and set teams.
Directed by Mandyrae Jessey, we will be adding our own unique touch and incorporate live songs and music.
We are delighted to be working with Bruern Cafe for this fabulous experience. Bruern Cafe will be running an outside bar and BBQ through the performances including the matinee on the 20th June.
We will perform unless weather conditions are too bad! Please dress for the weather conditions. Sorry no umbrellas.
Seating will be available at picnic tables but you can bring your own chairs or picnic rug and seating will be first come, first served.
